ABOUT THE ORANGE COUNTY PSYCHOLOGICAL ASSOCIATION

The Orange County Psychological Association, a chapter of the California Psychological Association, was organized in 1960 to advance psychology as a science in the promotion of human welfare. Our aim is to serve the community as well as the local psychologists.

Our service includes:

  • The improvement of the qualifications and usefulness of psychologists through high standards of professional ethics, conduct, education and achievement;
  • The advancement of scientific interests and inquiry; the application of research findings; and
  • The increase and diffusion of psychological knowledge through meetings, discussions and achievement.
  • The dissemination of information to the Orange County community.

 The Orange County Psychological Association (OCPA) is organized as a 501(c)(6) non-profit professional association for licensed psychologists and others affiliated with the delivery of psychological services.
