Regional Program Director – Full Time
Our Client is a community-based non-profit agency and one of the largest county contractors that provides prevention and mental health treatment services for troubled youth and their families. Our Clients programs include children’s mental health clinics and family resource centers as well as a public-private partnership with the Orange County Health Care Agency and local School Districts, they also provide services on-site in public schools throughout the County. Examples of their specialized program areas include parenting, family life education, crisis intervention to children in out-of-home placement and early childhood intervention.
The Regional Program Director (RPD) will direct and manage regional clinical operations through a team of function and front line supervision. The RDP will ensure that regional professionals and paraprofessionals provide program treatment in a manner consistent with contractual requirements, state laws, Agency policies, and professional ethical principles. As the RPD, you will assist staff on difficult and complex treatment problems along with performing or overseeing difficult and complex psychological evaluations and therapy. The position will be responsible for developing new clinical and management staff, oversee clinic service provision, and billing operations.
Additional Responsibilities:
Provides leadership for employee relations through effective communications, coaching, training, and development.
Provides leadership for problem resolution to facilitate faster improvements and improved working relationships.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in the areas of clinical, organizational and program development
Minimum of two years supervisory experience with a demonstrated ability to effectively lead a mental health team required.
Maintain a current California Licensure as LCSW or Psychologist for at least 2 plus years and provide a photocopy of a current license.
Working knowledge of Medi-Cal and related regulations, including documentation requirements, highly preferred.
