Chronic Pain Management Psychologist Program Manager II
In this role, you will manage the delivery and/or program planning/evaluation of timely, cost effective, and high quality services for the chronic pain program at assigned sites throughout the Service Area.
Qualifications include:
- A Ph.D. or Psy.D. in clinical or counseling from an accredited college or university
- A current California license to practice psychology
- At least two years of professional experience under the direction of a licensed psychologist or board certified psychiatrist
- At least two years of experience in the area of chronic pain
- Two years of experience in managing/supervising the development, delivery, and evaluation of behavioral health or chronic pain program, including outcomes measurement and evaluation
- Knowledge of learning theory and behavioral medicine and chronic pain, with an emphasis on cognitive behavioral treatment
- Knowledge of state regulations and APA standards as it relates to client treatment, patient rights, and client/patient confidentiality
- Previous clinical responsibilities to include diagnosis, crisis intervention, brief individual and group psychotherapy, and consultation and collaboration with medical personnel
- Familiarity with psychopharmacology, biofeedback, and medical terminology preferred
- The ability to work effectively as a member of a team
- Experience in psychometric evaluation of chronic pain patients
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
