CHRONIC PAIN PSYCHOLOGISTS
Kaiser Permanente is seeking two full-time Medical Psychologists or Health Psychologists to join the multidisciplinary teams in our Integrated Pain Management Programs in Woodland Hills and Corona, California. Responsibilities will include diagnosis and psychological assessments by administering and interpreting psychometric and projective tests, as well as other psychodiagnostic techniques and behavior observations.
Selected candidate will be a PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology from an accredited college or university along with two years of post graduate experience in behavioral health. Candidates must hold a valid license to practice psychology in the state of California with a minimum of two years of professional training and experience in the area of chronic pain management. Knowledge of learning theory, behavioral medicine, chronic pain, and psycho-pharmacology is required. Some local travel is necessary.

Job Description |
The University of California, Irvine Student Health Center seeks a full time (40 hours/week) California-licensed psychologist to join a multidisciplinary outpatient medical setting on a college campus. This is a career and year-round position. The Student Health Center provides evaluation and treatment for a variety of conditions to our diverse student population. The successful applicant must have excellent clinical skills, solid organizational skills, outstanding personal skills and effectively interact with other campus agencies. A key role is to serve as the lead psychologist for the therapists and psychologists on staff and to provide direct clinical service.
The Student Health Center is a busy, outpatient multi-specialty clinic. The Mental Health Clinic is multidisciplinary, with administrative staff, psychologists, psychiatry residents and psychiatrists. Responsibilities of the Lead Psychologist will be predominantly clinical, with sequential individual therapy appointments, crisis management, assessment, treatment planning, and team / interagency collaboration. Limited opportunity for groups, couples therapy, and outreach exists. This is a generalist position, with Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology expected; five to ten years professional experience, with particular emphasis on previous administrative duties, strong clinical practice and supervision of staff in systems-of-care preferred. The administrative portion consists of being a senior resource person for the other psychologists on staff, some policy input and execution, input on evaluation of staff during annual evaluations and peer staffing management concerns.
Prior peer supervision is required; supervision of subordinates will be considered insufficient.
Must have current and valid license to practice in the state of California.
Starting salary: range $33.68/ hour not to exceed $36.12 / hr.
