OCPA is proud to support Dr. Donald Schubert's Thanksgiving Celebration on behalf of the Elliot and Eileen Kranson-Schubert Mental Health Foundation.  This event will be held on Sunday, November 22 from 2:00-9:00 pm at the Felipe Tennis and Recreation Center at 27161 Nogal Road in Mission Viejo.  It will include numerous festivities including lunch and dinner, volleyball, tennis, lawn games, pickleball, free massage, free solar, book signing, pottery, live music, and dancing.  Lanette Valencia will be providing comedy from 2:00-2:30 pm, karaoke will be held 3:00 to 4:00 pm, and two bands are featured 4:00 to 9:00 pm.  

 

OCPA will be hosting one of several booths to let people know of OCPA and the services we offer to fellow psychologists and to the community.  Therefore, we are calling on all interested volunteers to man a time slot of one hour between 2:00 and 6:00 pm.  Just let Julie Cohen, Ph.D., know what time slot you would like.  OCPA is also encouraging all members who wish to exhibit a product or book to sign up on a time slot.  Julie will be presenting a talk on OCPA introduced by Andy Schwartz, Ph.D., and we welcome any other persons who would like to give a small presentation or speech in support of OCPA.

 

This should be a grand and fun event for OCPA and the community.  I have attached a flyer to let you know more details about the celebration.  People can also attend without volunteering for OCPA.  Dr. Schubert would like you to rsvp to [email protected] if you intend to come.  See you there!
