Name:  Elizabeth "Bella" McCloud

Phone: 831 238-6326

Description:  April 1, 2019 Aloha, I recently graduated with my doctorate in clinical psychology, Psy.D.; and completed my pre-doctoral internship working with high-profile families (from the mainland), and their young adult children at Pacific Quest, an Outdoor Wilderness Therapy Program on the Big Island of Hawai’i. Pacific Quest is an outdoor wilderness therapy program that utilizes an integrative and holistic model of collaboration between health-care professionals. The client base is college-age and comprised of a variety of diagnosis, such as: failure to launch, drug and alcohol addiction, self-harm, suicide ideation, gaming, technology addiction, etc…. I found it to be an amazingly affective and heartfelt program. Prior to moving to Hawai'i for my pre-doctoral internship I lived locally in Laguna Beach. I have recently returned and am eager to begin the accrual of my post-doctoral hours locally. I am currently looking for a post-doc opportunity with supervision from a clinical psychologist or psychiatrist. I have extensive clinical experience working with individuals, groups, and families in many capacities; but most recently, (as mentioned above), during my time at Pacific Quest where I worked as a group facilitator, individual therapist, family therapist, and doctoral candidate. I also spent 1 year working in the Student Health Department at Saddleback College in Mission Viejo. The Student Health Department was comprised of a team of medical doctors, nurses, a supervising psychologist and psychology interns. I have experience working with, and connecting to, a wide variety of people. I am also a seasoned yoga instructor/therapist, (E-RYT@500 HR), because of this I base my work on somatic integration, awareness, and mindfulness practices; I enjoy incorporating the tools of yoga into my therapeutic practice because I find them to be highly effective yet I am always eager and happy to learn more and expand my tool box. I have excellent letters of reference as well and hope to have the opportunity to meet with you soon. I have attached my CV and am happy to send letters of reference from my clinical supervisors as well. Mahalo, Dr. Bella (Elizabeth) McCloud Psy.D.
